Monday Funday:  Each Monday night at the shelter is referred to as ”Monday Funday.”  This is an evening where staff and volunteers come together to spend time with the women and children we serve and invest in their lives.  Children four and under play in our indoor gym or outside on the playground.  School aged kids do homework/educational activities for the first part of the evening followed by a fun craft, game or activity.  Women and mothers relax and unwind while particpating in craft time, playing games such as BINGO or “Minute to Win It,” practicing for an upcoming talent show and even sometimes taking a field trip.  Every week looks different!
