Ms Parks has five children and works at Dennys 6 days a week. Other than the money she receives monthly by TANF, her work is her only income. After she pays her bills, and food, there will be no money for Christmas presents. Her children range from 2 years, 4 years, 6 years, 9 years, and 11 year old.
