Adopt A Room

The Social Service Center houses over 126 women and children.  We have 15 family rooms and 11 single rooms in the main shelter and 10 rooms which house a mix of families and singles in our Domestic Violence Unit.  The “Adopt A Room” program is a chance for individuals, groups, or families to brighten up a room for our residents.  Sponsors can do as much or as little as they would like for each room.

All of our rooms at the main shelter were renovated 8 years ago and new furniture was put in each room.  All rooms could use new wardrobes and heating/cooling units.  Every room could use repainting!

Our family rooms can accommodate Mom and 3-4 children.  Single rooms house two ladies per room.

Pricing Information:
Paint:  Around $50
Linens:  Family rooms – $160,  Singles rooms – $80
New Blinds: $20
Wardrobes: $745/per wardrobe
Nightstands:  $213/per nightstand
